Camelback Park Estates retained its Paradise Valley address and ZIP code despite being officially annexed by the City of Scottsdale in the 1960’s. Scottsdale’s zoning allows for bigger homes to be built than would be possible on the same amount of land in almost every other neighborhood with an 85253 ZIP code, in addition to utilizing Scottsdale’s services and utilities. It is also one of the few walkable neighborhoods with a Paradise Valley address, and the closest one to Old Town Scottsdale.
